Annalee J. Cataldo-Barile co-chairs SKM’s Insurance Defense practice group. Ms. Cataldo-Barile is a 1989 graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she served on the Moot Court Board and was awarded the Jacob Burns Award for her distinction in the area of moot court advocacy. She brings more than 25 years of experience as an insurance defense litigator in the areas of professional liability involving claims against architects, engineers and land surveyors. Ms. Cataldo-Barile also has extensive experience defending general liability personal injury actions involving premises liability or violations of the New York State Labor Law. She has ample trial experience and is frequently requested to present seminars to architects, engineers and land surveyors and has authored articles related to design professionals and their practice. She formerly served as Co-General Counsel to the New York Society of Architects, is an affiliate member of the American Counsel of Engineering Companies (“ACEC”), and serves as a member of ACEC’s Legal Counsel Forum.
