Jonathan Sinnreich Jonathan Sinnreich, the firm’s founding partner, is a 1974 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, and a recognized authority in the fields of construction, architectural and engineering, and governmental law. Mr. Sinnreich is the co-author of a leading treatise entitled” Architect/Engineering Law in the State of New York” (Cambridge Institute 1989), as well as numerous other works on the subject of government construction and procurement law. Mr. Sinnreich has also represented an impressive array of prominent international, US and New York corporations and governmental institutions in a broad range of complex litigations, projects and business transactions, often involving novel legal structures, and claims in the amounts of millions of dollars. David Kosakoff David B. Kosakoff is an accomplished litigator and trial lawyer. Since graduating from Hofstra University School of Law in 1987, Mr. Kosakoff has concentrated in the area of professional liability defense, especially representing the interests of design professionals, including architects, engineers and land surveyors, and has written and lectured extensively in the field. Mr. Kosakoff is the General Counsel of the Westchester/Mid-Hudson Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and an experienced construction arbitrator on the Commercial Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Kosakoff joined with Mr. Sinnreich in 2004 to create the present Firm, bringing with him his established reputation as a trial lawyer and his broad experience in defending design professional malpractice claims. Vincent J. Messina, Jr. Vincent J. Messina, Jr. joined the firm following more than 12 years as the chief legal officer of a large municipality where he handled an array of complex municipal issues. A graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, he maintained a private practice since 1990. A significant part of his practice involves proceedings pursuant to Mental Hygiene Law Article 81, which he successfully litigated in both the trial and appellate courts. Mr. Messina also practices in the areas of Trust and Estates and Surrogates Court. Annalee Cataldo-Barile Annalee Cataldo-Barile, is a 1989 graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School, where she was awarded the Jacob Burns Award for her distinction in the area of moot court advocacy. Ms. Cataldo-Barile is a trial lawyer in the areas of design professional malpractice defense and construction claims and general liability defense. Jarrett M. Behar focuses on complex commercial construction matters at SKM. Mr. Behar is experienced in litigating real estate, commercial lending and general contractual disputes, as well as bankruptcy matters, having previously served as an associate at Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen LLP, and as counsel/project manager at Steve & Barry’s University Sportswear. He received his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, where he served as Competitions Editor on the Moot Court Board.
